Adventures to see Amma at MA Center & Indiana Dunes State Park

New Vlog! Check our adventures to see Amma the Hugging Saint at MA Center in Elburn, Illinois right outside Chicago. This year marks her 30 Year Anniversary of her US Tour starting in 1987. We had an amazing adventure camping at the Dunes, eating delicious vegan and vegetarian food at Third Coast Cafe in Chesterton, Indiana and Roots Cafe in Valparaiso, Indiana, swimming and dune riding/running and hiking at the Indiana Dunes State Park. We then spent some amazing time with Amma at MA Center and received our Amma Hugs and enjoyed the atmosphere of her ashram, Vegetarian food and all night Kirtans and Bhajans while Amma hugged thousands into the early morning nonstop!

We then had a bit of a challenge getting home but all is well and we had an amazing time!! Watch the video to see for yourself! I highly suggest both meeting Amma and visiting the Dunes!

Serendipity Festival 2014 – Matisyahu, MC Yogi, The Tuff Tones and More

Last weekend my band The Tuff Tones were very honored to play for our second year at the Serendipity Festival in Cloverdale, Indiana.

We played with many great artists like Matisyahu, MC Yogi, Arjun Baba, GuruGanesha Band, Donavon Frankenreiter and many more musicians, artists, and awesome conscious people!

Illuminati Congo – Still Got My Sinse – Official Video

You must definitely watch this new music video by Illuminati Congo “Still got my Sinse”. Illuminati Congo is a friend of mine and “my personal favorite” underground artist! Me and him have done a couple tracks together on a Krishna Conscious hiphop project called “Age of Gaura“ and also “Mix of the Mystics“

I enjoy this new song a lot because he raps about how his girlfriend left him, and how the ganja, the sinse, is there to comfort him, to help blanket the pain possibly or to just give a broader perspective. I connect to this song because I lost my woman too. She is my daughter’s mother and she broke my heart. And there have been plenty of times where I’ve used the holy herb to comfort my heart and help me see beyond my present pains and see a greater perspective on the situation. Ganja doesn’t solve the problem but it definitely can be used as a tool towards transformation. Besides all that, the song is just really fun and dope! lol

Marijuana and Hemp are so beneficial to the planet and human beings in countless ways, stay tuned for another post about that. Ganja truly is the Healing Herb, and by the way, this video is really well done and cool too! Illuminati Congo is lookin smooth in his hat, the girl in video is hot and the special effects are neat too! MC Yogi – Breath Control – Official Video

You gotta check out this awesome new video from MC Yogi called “Breath Control”. The man brings that yoga and mystic consciousness inna Hiphop stylee! The video is really cool too! I like the tracer lines when he moves his hands.

I got to see MC Yogi perform this song a few months ago when he came to Indiana for the Serendipity Festival, in which he performed with DJ Drez and the Kirtaniyas. His set was alot of fun! It was cool to see the mashup the 3 artists did by performing together. My reggae band The Tuff Tones also performed at the festival. It was a really great festival!

Kirtaniyas feat. MC Yogi – Nitai Gauranga Official Video

Last night my friend Pankaj sent me a link to a brand new music video he made. I had no idea what it would be. To my surprise it was a music video of the song “Nitai Gauranga” by my other friends Vijay, The Kirtaniyas, MC Yogi, and DJ Drez! I just performed with all of these guys at Serendipity Festival a little over a month ago and got a first sample hearing of this particular song when they performed it live there. I was loving it then. I actually thought it was my favorite song of the night when I saw them perform their set. My bands The Tuff Tones and Baraka also performed at Serendipity Festival, and myself and Vijay sang with Arjun Baba too. It was a blast! But doesn’t really compare to the fun they are having in this video! Filmed at the Radha Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, Utah during the “Festival of Colors“, the energy, and well obviously the colors really make this video a very enjoyable watch! If you didn’t already know, Kirtan is sacred chanting of God’s Holy Names. So check it out yourself!
