The shape of the Linga is said to represent the cosmic pillar, or axis mundi, connecting the earthly realm with the spiritual realm. It is a symbol of transcendence, reminding devotees of the infinite and timeless nature of the divine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Yoni, on the other hand, represents the cosmic womb and the creative power of Shakti, the divine feminine energy.
