This vow is described in Numbers 6:1-21 in the Hebrew Bible. Nazarites abstained from consuming alcohol and cutting their hair during the period of their vow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notable biblical figures who were Nazarites include Samson and Samuel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Nazarite vow was a personal commitment and was not associated with a specific religious sect or community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nazoreans (or Nazarenes)<\/strong>:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The term &#8220;Nazarene&#8221; is used in the New Testament to describe Jesus of Nazareth (e.g., Matthew 2:23) and his followers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Nazoreans were a Jewish Christian sect that emerged in the early Christian church.
