Due to a curse and the tests posed by Sage Vishwamitra, he lost everything and was reduced to working as a crematorium caretaker, separated from his family and enduring immense suffering.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Divine Guidance:<\/strong> After years of hardship, a sage advised Harishchandra to observe the fast of Annada Ekadasi.
