You must definitely watch this new music video by Illuminati Congo “Still got my Sinse”. Illuminati Congo is a friend of mine and “my personal favorite” underground artist! Me and him have done a couple tracks together on a Krishna Conscious hiphop project called “Age of Gaura“ and also “Mix of the Mystics“

I enjoy this new song a lot because he raps about how his girlfriend left him, and how the ganja, the sinse, is there to comfort him, to help blanket the pain possibly or to just give a broader perspective. I connect to this song because I lost my woman too. She is my daughter’s mother and she broke my heart. And there have been plenty of times where I’ve used the holy herb to comfort my heart and help me see beyond my present pains and see a greater perspective on the situation. Ganja doesn’t solve the problem but it definitely can be used as a tool towards transformation. Besides all that, the song is just really fun and dope! lol

Marijuana and Hemp are so beneficial to the planet and human beings in countless ways, stay tuned for another post about that. Ganja truly is the Healing Herb, and by the way, this video is really well done and cool too! Illuminati Congo is lookin smooth in his hat, the girl in video is hot and the special effects are neat too! New Artist Spotlight: Naâman (Good Music!)

I just came across this new artist Naâman by recommendation of a friend, and I was pleasantly surprised! He has a Reggae Ragga style with a RnB flava and if you know me then you know that’s my kinda music!! Below I’ve posted two of his songs, “Smoke Tricks” and “House of Love”. I like them both! I first heard him through “House of Love”, but I think “Smoke Tricks” is my favorite so far. Check out these songs by Naâman and enjoy!

Erykah Badu – Next Lifetime

I was at a restaurant yesterday and this song came on. Actually, they were playing the entire Erykah Badu “Baduizm” album. It brought me back! I was feelin these emotions come up and remembering high school and my first love in North Carolina and that crazy journey we took together. My spirit was so young and so innocent then. I was so naive to this harsh world. I was very aware too, being conscious of oppression and things like that since I was already troddin Rastafari, being a vegetarian and aware of spiritual and metaphysical dimensions, but in the world of love and relationships, I was a dreamer and believer in true love and destiny. And while I still am a dreamer and believer of true love and destiny, heartbreaks have definitely left some wounds. But there is always Next Lifetime…

And when I say that, I don’t necessarily mean next incarnation.. like reincarnation.. even though that is the idea expressed in this song, but next lifetime can also mean a new phase in this life. Right now, I am entering into a new phase in life. Dreams and Aspirations are being manifested and fulfilled. New love is right around the corner too. Wealth and Abundance in all things desired is unfolding before my very eyes. There is no lack of love, which is something Amma taught me in her embrace. You just have to learn to tap into that unlimited source within. Like Butterflies, as Badu sings about in this song, metamorphosis is transforming us into the truest expressions of our selves. Our most beautiful souls are sharing love in the infinite space of existence.

Narasimha is the Lion form of God in India. He represents Divine Majesty and Protection.

I always felt a connection to this Lion form of God because of how much I loved the form of Christ as the Lion of Judah.
