Success always involves risk. You must take a chance by investing your time, money, and effort. It pays to be thoughtful and deliberate in your analyses of opportunities, but don’t let timidity hold you back. Because you have worked hard to develop those things you must risk, it is natural for you to place a high value on them. But what good are they if you do not put them to use? You will recognize opportunity only to the extent that you are willing to consider risking your time, money, and effort. Being confident gives you the courage to face risk and act when opportunity arises. No one on earth is going to force success upon you; you will find it only to the degree that you actively seek it out.

When I saw Amma in California last year, I asked her for a special money blessing. I was in-between a rock and a hard place and in need of a real break. At the end of the all-night Darshan, early in the morning, Amma appeared in the center of the stage with her hands full of flower petals. You can often see images of the Goddess Lakshmi in the similar form, in which she showers coins in blessings to the viewer/devotee. The coins represent fortune, abundance, and prosperity. Anyone who receives the blessings of Lakshmi will have some sort of abundance.
I knew that I was sealed with Amma’s blessings, who channeled those supreme blessings from the Supreme Goddess, Herself. This is a solo song from Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes which I’m assuming was supposed to be on her solo album “Supernova” that her label decided not to release. She was so shattered they wouldn’t release it that she headed back to Honduras to break with life and begin her cleansing retreat and documentary about herself, during which she died tragically in a car crash. If her label had agreed to release her album she may still be here today. Regardless, as she says so many times “death is not the end, but a transformation” and this song has a very pure spirit and energy which she was trying to convey to the world before she left us here in the physical realm. She was truly a Supernova, a star that shines brighter then all the rest, a star that dies and transforms and births new stars.

This documentary appeared in my recommended list on YouTube and I felt strongly moved to watch it immediately. I had no idea how amazing Left Eye was! This is so inspiring! I always felt connected to her, as TLC was one of my favz back in tha day, but seriously, you must watch the whole thing! I’m completely floored.. and bawled at the end. I had no idea she was vegetarian and had such a spiritual and humanitarian calling. I didn’t know of her connection to Dr. Sebi and Honduras, the children’s center she built there, her attempt at releasing a solo album and so many other fascinating things this documentary reveals. And even more amazing is she was personally in charge of this 30 day documentary and it was on the 27th day that she died tragically. I always loved her but now i feel like her spirit just reached out and touched me. She is helping me alot right now, because I am feeling so similar to how she felt during her last days. The pain in her heart and the beauty of her vision is something I resonate with so deeply it brings tears to my eyes just writing this. I love you Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, my angel.
