Lord Shiva & the Holy Cannabis Plant

Once upon a time, a long long way from where we now stand, there lived a powerful and divine being known as Lord Shiva. He was one of the three Supreme Gods of Hinduism and was said to reside atop of Mount Kailash in the Himalayas.

One day, Lord Shiva set out on a journey of self-discovery and exploration. Along the way, he encountered a sacred plant known as cannabis. Feeling the plant’s pure energy, Lord Shiva was inspired and consumed the leaves and flowers of the cannabis plant. The energy of the divine plant was overwhelming, calming and energizing all at once.

Once the effects of the cannabis had taken hold, Lord Shiva experienced incredible visions. He saw both the depths of life and the beauty of it, understanding the intricate balance that exists in the Universe. Upon coming to the realization that each moment of life is a precious gift, he embraced all of creation – from the trees to the stars – as part of himself.

Lord Shiva’s connection to cannabis remained strong, and he is said to have invented the holy bhang, a cannabis infused beverage, to boost himself and his followers’ spiritual awareness and connection to the divine.

And, to this day, Shiva himself is often represented with a cannabis leaf over his third eye, reminding us of the importance of that plant’s power and significance. To this day, many still believe that the true path to inner peace can be found through the use of cannabis and with the blessing of Lord Shiva.

Shiva has been a part of Hindu mythology since ancient times, and he has been greatly revered by millions around the world, in India and beyond. He is the all-powerful Hindu God of destruction and rebirth, often depicted with four arms and a trident in hand, dancing the Tandava. On the other side of the spectrum, Cannabis has been widely used around the world for hundreds of years, both recreationally and medicinally, as an aid in achieving a higher state of consciousness and health. This paper will discuss the relationship between Lord Shiva and Cannabis, looking at their history and uses for religious and medicinal purposes.

History

The relationship between Lord Shiva and Cannabis has been around for centuries. As early as 2000 BC, Cannabis was widely used in India for medicinal reasons and as an aid in achieving altered states of consciousness. Culturally, the use of Cannabis was associated with Shiva, who was often referred to as the Lord of Bhang. Bhang is an Ayurvedic herb mixture including Cannabis as its main ingredient and other herbs such as rose petals and spices. This mixture was then made into a drink and offered to Shiva as a way of showing devotion.

The use of Cannabis in traditional Indian culture is mentioned in various Hindu scriptures such as the Atharvaveda and Sushruta Samhita. It is also mentioned in written records by travelers to India such as the Greek writer Herodotus who noted its medicinal properties. Cannabis was used in India in the form of Bhang as well as charas, which is the resin of the female Cannabis plant smoked in a chillum (ornamental clay pipe).

Symbolism

Cannabis was seen as a symbol of both vitality and destruction in ancient Hindu culture. Shiva’s use of Cannabis is seen as a representation of his ever-changing states from destruction to creation, from death to life. It is thought that the use of Cannabis helped Shiva to both find and maintain balance in his life, and thus provided an example of how Cannabis can be used for personal and spiritual growth.

There is also the idea of Cannabis being used as an offering to Shiva in order to obtain his blessings and bestow prosperity on a person or a kingdom. As well as being consumed as a drink or smoked, Cannabis was also used as a votive offering, where it was offered as an offering of thanks, or burned in the fire as part of a Puja ceremony.

Medicinal Uses

The medicinal uses of Cannabis are well known, and have been around for centuries. Cannabis has been used for a variety of medical conditions, including pain relief, anxiety, and even as an aid for sleep. The active compounds in Cannabis, known as cannabinoids, are known to affect certain receptors in the body, leading to a variety of therapeutic effects. Research has found that the use of Cannabis can be beneficial for a range of medical conditions, and can improve quality of life for those suffering from chronic pain, insomnia, and more.

Lord Shiva and Cannabis have a long history together, and are both actively used in various Hindu rituals and traditions. Shiva is often seen as using Cannabis to both achieve and maintain balance in his life, while Cannabis is increasingly being used in the modern world for its medicinal properties. The relationship between Shiva and Cannabis is one that is complex, but ultimately can be seen as a practical way of using a natural substance to achieve balance and better health.

Narasimha Lion Man God

Narasimha, the fourth avatar of Lord Vishnu, was born from a powerful and tumultuous blaze of fire in a beautiful golden twilight, before making his way to the earthly realms.

He was sent by Krishna to liberate the oppressed and punish the evil king, Hiranyakashipu. The mere sight of Narasimha, who was half lion and half man, filled Hiranyakashipu with terror and dread. Narasimha then proceeded to tear into the king’s chest, bring his years of tyranny and cruelty to an end.

Having accomplished his mission, Narasimha then transformed into a gentle and compassionate being, kindness emanating from his aura. He graced the earth with a renewed sense of hope and fearlessness. With heavenly music filling the air and a sight of mercy, he granted people with his divine blessings and protection.

His legend and deeds soon spread far and wide, and ever since, people have praised and celebrated him for his infinite strength and compassion. His presence is still venerated today, for the invaluable contribution he made to protect the innocent and punish the wicked.

The Apocalypse of Adam

Discovered in 1945, The Apocalypse of Adam. 🍎
The Apocalypse of Adam, also known as the Revelation of Adam is Adam’s version of what happened in the garden of Eden. 🍒

Part of which Reads: “I went about with her in a glory which she had seen in the aeon from which we had come forth. She taught me a word of knowledge of the eternal God. And we resembled the great eternal angels, for we were higher than the god who had created us and the powers with him, whom we did not know.” 🫂

Omitted from the Bible because of what it reveals. Eve and the serpent are the hero’s of the story teaching Adam’s fruits of eternal knowledge. To “eat from” means to “take in and digest, or to fully understand.” Eve was sent to Adam from the eternal father that Jesus spoke of to remind Adam of who he really is, a light being imprisoned in the material world by a jealous creator god. This creator god made this imperfect material world that he fashioned afrer the eternal heavenly realm. Adam’s soul is what was needed to animate the flesh suit the creator god made as a prison for his soul, claiming he is a jealous God, demanding worship and unquestionable faith. 🐍

Jesus also tells this story in another book omitted from the Bible called the “Secret Book of John,” discovered in a cave in 1945.

Jesus quotes the creator god, and asked a question which reads;
“I am a jealous God and there is no God but me!” 🤔

[But by doing this he admitted to his demons that there is indeed another God.
For, if there were no other God, whom would he possibly be jealous of?] 🤔

Where The Bible starts from the creation of earth, what’s learned is this is actually a galatic story. Adam’s soul is known in this story as “the first knowledge that breathed within him,” aka his eternal spirit which was stolen from the heavenly realm. Eve was sent by the true eternal father located at the center of the galaxy. This is the father Jesus spoke of when he came to deliver the same message to humanity to help free us from the prison of the material realm. 🌎

This different interpretation than the story in the Bible will lead you to your true identity.

Mystical Poetry for Queen Cleopatra

Time of Nile’s kings hath come to pass
Bringeth forth the great Queen of Egypt’s grass
Cleopatra the Seventh, treasure of lore,
Descended down the lineage to open a new door.
Her dynasty would foretell of a holy birth
Ancestor of a Son who cometh of Heaven’s mirth.

Cryptic Poem for Queen Cleopatra

Queen Cleopatra VII

Ruler of time and space,
Her gaze beholden with grace,
A timeless queen, a pharoah clear,
The ancestor of the Nasarene so near.
Her mysteries and secrets unearthed,
Her beloved Egypt on river rust,
Ancestor of a crucified King,
Her legend flows like a Spring.

The Elven Priestess Story

Deep in the forest, beneath the trees and under a starry sky, there lived an elven priestess named Lorana. For as long as she could remember, she had been guided on her journey by her spirit animal, the wise owl.

Lorana was a powerful and wise woman in her community. She had long, white hair and beautiful turquoise-colored, almond-shaped eyes, wise beyond her years. Her necklace was carved from wood and it held the secrets of the forest.

Lorana often spent time in the forest, meditating and seeking wisdom. One night, she saw a small owl perched atop a branch. This was her spirit animal, sent to guide her.

The owl went with Lorana everywhere, from the deepest corners of the forest to the highest mountains. It perched on her shoulder while she meditated, and it watched her intently. When she needed guidance and protection, the owl’s intelligent eyes looked upon her and offered her a wise counsel.

With the owl by her side, Lorana continued to learn and to grow. She learned about the natural order of the world and the movement of energies. She dove deep into the mysteries of spiritual wisdom and she studied about herbs and plant medicine.

Lorana eventually realized that she was part of something much bigger than herself. She became a protector of the Earth, a healer of wounds, and a guide to her community. Her knowledge and wisdom was deep, and it was the owl who had helped her to accept her role.

When Lorana decided to disappear, the owl flew away into the night sky, taking her sage knowledge and powerful spirit with it. But her legacy in the forest will remain, as will the bond between her and her spirit animal. And every once in a while, one can hear deep in the forest, the distant cry of the wise owl.

They say.. if you hear the owl’s hoot the Elven Priestess is near by.. and if you please her, she may even reappear, just for you. 🧝🏼‍♀️🦉

Poem for Sri Radha

Radha, a young cowherd girl,
Her eyes brimming with tears,
Waited all through the long years
For Krishna’s return to Vrindavan.

The banks of the Yamuna were her home,
Where she wished everyday to roam,
For the glimpse of her divine lord’s face,
Her longing knew no time or space.

The birds, beasts and trees sang a tune,
Of love and divine longing,
The Gopis knew and all could feel,
Her divine love for him was real.

So she kept a flame burning in her heart,
Alone, and yet she was never apart,
Waiting for her lord’s return to her,
There to be with him, forever more.

Poem for Lord Shiva

A trident held by Lord Shiva
The symbol of power and reminder of divinity

The three points that glint in the sky’s golden hue
Pointing in each direction to uphold truth

Om Shivoham, Om Namah Shivaya
Vibrations of devotion and love for Shiva

The trident’s rays of grace fire down
Piercing, enlightening the hearts of one and all

It soothes our pains and cleanses our sins
Blessings from above, blessings from within

The trident is a sign of Lord Shiva’s strength
Protector of all, the destroyer of wrongs

Om Tat Sat, all strings of life come together
By His command, He binds the universe

The trident grounds and holds us together
In His love and grace, we belong to Him forever.
